Project Beginnings
The first inter-university sports competition ESNOLYMPICS took place in 2009 in Warsaw and was connected with the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of the Erasmus Student Network. The project received a very positive response, and as early as May 2011 teams composed of representatives from 11 cities in Poland competed for the final cup.
In 2012, the host was the National Defence University of Warsaw (ESN AON), which brought together 143 competitors from 10 cities in Poland, as well as guests from Lithuania and Portugal. In 2015, ESNOLYMPICS was also recognized in the PZU competition for the Best Student Project.
The initial editions included disciplines such as:
1- Swimming 2- Run–march (with elements of knowledge about the European Union and the ESN Poland Association) 3- Obstacle runs
